Frequently asked questions

What is the return policy?

All sales are final sale. Due to the cost of shipping, the very small size of our business, and the importance of every customer having that 'new journal' feel, we do not accept any returns on any products.

Where do you ship to?

We currently ship to Canada, US, Australia and New Zealand. If you are located anywhere else, please visit our Etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/shoppicostudio. All the same products are available at the same price, and we ship worldwide on Etsy.

Do you offer free local shipping?

Yes! If you're located in the Vancouver, BC, Canada area, we can provide you with a discount code for free shipping and we can arrange a pickup time and place. Please contact us for this code.

When will I get my order?

We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Delivery times vary depending on your location.

What kind of paper do you use?

We only use 150gsm paper. GSM = grams per square meter, the higher the number, the thicker the paper. A cheap dollar store notebook might be 50-70gsm, and nicer notebook might be 100gsm. Our notebooks are all 150gsm to give a luxurious and artist feel.

Will my pens bleed through the paper?

Most water-based pens and markers will not bleed. This includes crayola markers, zebra mildliners, and other similar markers. Watercolour paints are also safe to use. Alcohol-based markers i.e. sharpies will still bleed through.

Where are your products manufactured?

All our products are proudly 100% Canadian - designed and printed in Canada.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is calculated based on your location and the items in your order. You will always know the shipping price before you purchase.

Do you use AI in your designs?

No! All artwork is drawn digitally with a digital pen on iPad, 100% hand-drawn. You can see every brushstroke - no AI or computer enhancing is used whatsoever.
